1. Do you provide Hosting and Domain Name Registration?
No. At this time, eGreekSites.com reccomends Godaddy.com for all hosting and domain name needs. These services together generally cost less than $100/year and should be taken into consideration as a recurring expense for your chapter to keep a website. However, we will set up your domain name and hosting on your behalf as part of the development of your chapter's web site.
2. How do I update/maintain an eGreekSites web site?
We will develope your site in what is called a Content Management System. This free and non-proprietory software will allow you to update and maintain your website with great ease and no learning curve. Pages and content can be edited in a "What You See Is What You Get" (WYSIWIG) html editor with an interface similar to most word processing software. We will also provide you with instructive video to guide you through managing your sites content.
3. Is the cost for eGreekSites to design and develope a web site a one time fee?
Yes. Our service is a one time fee, unless you decide to purchase additional services at a later date.
4. Must you purchase the full web design package or can services be purchased A La Carte?
eGreekSites is a full service web development company. Services and/or products may be purchased seperatley at their individual rates. We can also devlope a custom web solution for your needs should our basic package not incude functionalities that you may desire. If this is the case, custom solutions will be seperately quoted to you at a rate of $65/hour of design and development time required by the project.
5. How long does it take for you to complete a site?
You will be delivered a fully functional website within 7 days of receiving your deposit. This gaurantee is given under the condition that all site content needed to develope your site is provided at the time we receive your deposit.
6. Does our chapter have to pay for any special software?
No. Any third-party software we provide to you will be free, non-proprietary, and open source.
7. Do you follow the web site guidelines of a sorority or fraternity's international/national organization?
Yes. eGreekSites is well aware of guidelines specific to National Pan-Hellenic Council Organizations. If you are a NPC, IFC, or NALFO organization in which your national organization requires you to adhere to certain web guidelines, please provide them to us and we will design and develope around those requirements.
